2 Days, 1 Night, 2 Days by horse
2 days riding through Ubatés hills and Valleys.
“Cerros de La Ventana”
Day 1:
For our first day the green plains of Ubaté will lead our way till we reach the historical town of Cucunubá and have a delicious lunch. On our way back we will pass through “la punta de la peña” till we reach the beautiful “Hacienda La Cabaña”.
At night, music and a fire place will bring heat to the night.
Day 2:
On our second day we will ride through “el cerro de las Águilas”, a unique spot where we can observe the whole cundiboyacense highlands.
Itinerary::
Day 1:
8:00 am Departure from Bogotá.
9:40 am Arrival at Valle Verde and snack.
10:30 am Approaching horses and begging of our day 1 horseback ride.
1:30 pm Visit to Cucunubá.
5:00 pm Arrival at “Hacienda la Cabaña” and rest.
Day 2:
9:00 am Traditional breakfast from a Hacienda.
10:00 am Beginning of our horseback ride to “el cerro de las águilas”.
1:00 pm Lunch.
3:00 pm Departure to Bogotá.
“Pueblos Coloniales”
3 Day Horseback ride.
Day 1:
Once we reach Valle Verde and have a wonderful snack, we will begin our horse ride through the Cucunubá lagoon and the half-moon paths.
In the afternoon after a traditional picnic, we will arrive to the historical town of Cucunubá, where we will spend the night.
We can take advantage of the night and go walking or sightseeing through the Stone roads of this little town that has handmade crafts and dresses in every corner.
Día 2:
Our journey will continue through the Gualá hills till “el Cucharo” campsite, located inside a Pine and Acacias Forrest, were we will have a native BBQ with meats, potatoes, guacamole, juice and salad.
In the afternoon we will arrive at “la Hacienda La Cabaña” were we will spend the night.
Día 3:
A ride through bridle paths to Sutatausa. On our way back to our farm, we will ride through a red desert and narrow paths in the trail of “Palacio”.
Goodbye lunch and end of our journey.
